Defenders of Mystica is a Video Slot with a cross-shaped 3x5x5x5x5x5x3 reel set. This game features 28125 ways that pay from left to right and right to left. The game has 5 regular high-paying symbols, represented by fairy-tale characters, and 5 low-paying symbols. There is a Mystery symbol that can turn into any regular or wild symbol. The wild symbol substitutes for all regular symbols. There is also a Scatter symbol that appears on the 1st and 7th reel in the base game only.

Mystery Symbol

The Mystery Symbol appears in the centre of the 5 reels. It can substitute for any random symbol (It turns into the scatter symbol only during a natural Free Spin trigger). Mystery symbols are sticky in Respins if they are part of a win and can turn into Wilds with an x1-x10 multiplier.

Avalanche Respin

When a Mystery Symbol participates in a win, it triggers an Avalanche Respin with all winning Mystery symbols remaining on the reels. Respins are played before Free Spins if both are triggered at the same time.

Free Spins

Landing a Scatter symbol on the 1st and 7th reels in the base game triggers 7 Free Spins. During the trigger, all Mystery symbols are turned into Scatters giving an additional + 1 Free Spin for each Scatter symbol on the center reels. All mystery symbols that are part of a win in Free Spins stay on the reels for the entire Free Spin session. Free Spins are played with the same bet as the activating spin. Free Spins cannot be retriggered.

How to Calculate Ways Wins

  • To calculate the total Ways win, add all symbol wins together.
  • To calculate a single symbol win, count the number of consecutive reels that contain the symbol, separately from the left to the right and from the right to the left.
  • If the number of consecutive reels containing the symbol is 3 or greater counting from the left, find the corresponding win amount in the pay table.
  • If any of the reels contain more than 1 instance of the winning symbols, the win will be multiplied. Multiply the number of symbols on each of the reels to get the final multiplier. For example: if the first reel contains 2 winning symbols, the second reel has 3 winning symbols and the third reel has 2 winning symbols, the total multiplier is counted as follows:2*3*2 = 12x (total multiplier).
  • Way Wins are summed together after the spin.
