Gigantoonz is an online slot game developed by Play'n GO, featuring an 8x8 grid and cascading mechanics. This game pays out wins for adjacent symbols that form clusters, as set out in the paytable and game rules. When clusters are formed, all corresponding wins are combined, including those generated from features such as Free Spins, Bonus Game, or Scatters, if present. All wins are awarded at the end of each game round. Free Spin features use the same bet as the triggering spin. Bets cannot be adjusted during active rounds. The theoretical Return to Player (RTP) can be viewed in-game.

How Wins Are Formed

  • Wins are created by clustering 6 or more symbols connected horizontally or vertically without gaps. Clusters can form anywhere on the grid; winning combinations do not need to start at a specific point.
  • Each symbol in a winning combination pays once per cluster, with only the highest win paid per symbol combination.

Key Game Features and Mechanics

  • Cascading Wins: Winning clusters are removed from the grid, allowing new symbols to fall into place. Cascades continue until no further wins are formed.
  • Mega Symbols: Mega symbols may land in varying sizes from 2x2 to 7x7. Each mega symbol carries a random cluster value up to 13 and counts as one symbol in win calculation. After a mega symbol wins, it leaves behind a WILD symbol. If a mega symbol cannot land fully, its space is filled by regular 1x1 symbols with no cluster value.
  • Quantum Wilds: On non-winning spins, between 5 and 10 Quantum Wilds can be randomly introduced. Gargantoon Wilds appear through the Quantumeter feature. Wilds can substitute for all other symbols.
  • The Quantumeter: Every winning symbol adds one charge to the Quantumeter; any mega symbol adds charges equal to its cluster value. The Quantumeter can reach up to 100 charges and has four stages:
    • 25 charges: DISINTEGRATION feature is triggered.
    • 50 charges: METAMORPHOSIS feature is activated.
    • 75 charges: RADIATION feature commences.
    • 100 charges: GARGANTOONZ! feature launches.
  • When no more cascades occur, the next available Quantumeter feature is played. The Quantumeter becomes inactive once all its features have been used for that round.

Feature Descriptions

  • DISINTEGRATION: Removes all appearances of four randomly selected symbols from the grid.
  • METAMORPHOSIS: Changes all instances of one symbol type into another randomly chosen symbol, including mega symbols.
  • RADIATION: Randomly adds between zero and four mega symbols and between two and five Quantum Wilds to the grid.
  • GARGANTOONZ!: This feature activates in two phases after all wins are resolved. In the first step, every mega symbol becomes a mega Gargantoonz, with at least three appearing, plus two to four 1x1 Gargantoonz. Mega Gargantoonz remain on the grid after a win. In the second step, each mega Gargantoonz breaks down into 1x1 Gargantoonz, which are then removed as part of regular wins.

How to Play Gigantoonz
