How To Play Warrior Ways

Use the Up & Down arrows toward the right to choose your preferred bet value.

Click the Spin icon next to the bet button to start the game.

Winning combinations can land when 3 or more matching symbols land on adjacent reels paying from left to right. So, for example, the high-paying warrior symbols can award 1x your stake when 5 matching symbols land in one line.

The gameplay surrounds 4 Clans, and each Clan has 2 groups of symbols; the Low paying and High paying symbols. The former are Clan Weapons, while the latter are Clan Warriors.

Special symbols include the golden mask wild symbol. It can substitute the regular symbols, except it cannot substitute for the Clan Warrior symbols to trigger a Duel; it can also award 50x your stake for landing 5 on adjacent reels. In addition, the wild symbol only lands during the Clash and Conquest bonus rounds.

Warrior Ways Bonus Features & Jackpots

Duel feature: The VS symbols come into play during this feature on reels 2, 3, & 4. However, the actual duel starts with a VS symbol landing between 2 Clan Warriors of opposing sides.

Each duel has a Duel Multiplier for every Clan Warrior. The multiplier values available in the base game are 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 10x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x, or 100x.

The winning Clan's High symbol can substitute a losing Clan's symbol in 1 of 3 ways;

  • The winning Clan's High symbol substitutes losing Clan's Low symbols.
  • The winning Clan's High symbol substitutes losing Clan's High symbols.
  • The winning Clan's High symbol substitutes the losing Clan's Low and High symbols.

The winning Clan's High symbol always substitutes The VS symbol.

Clash feature: You can enter the feature when 3 Clash symbols land on the reels simultaneously. The bonus plays out in 2 phases, the Collect phase and the Clash phase.

In the Collect phase, you will encounter VS symbols, special Clan Multiplier symbols, and dead symbols. So, the objective is to collect as many VS symbols and Clan multipliers as fast as possible.

For example, the feature starts with 3 spins and then resets after a Clan Multiplier or VS symbol lands.

Each of the reels represents a Clan from red to blue, green to orange. You can keep track of the multiplier values for every Clan multiplier above its corresponding reel. So, it starts at 1x and increases after a new Clan Multiplier lands. Multiplier values available include; 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 10x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x, and 100x.

If an Epic Multiplier lands on the 3rd reel, it doubles the collected Clan Multiplier values on top of the 1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th reels.

When you run out of spins in the Collect phase, you can proceed to the Clash phase. The number of VS symbols accumulated during the Collect phase determines how many spins you earn in the Clash phase. Here, each spin guarantees a Duel.

In addition, the Clan Multiplier values collected in the first phase replace Duel multipliers for each Clan Warrior on new Duels during the Clash phase. These multiplier values are visible on the Clan Banners.

Conquest feature: You win 10 Free Spins in this feature after 3 Conquest symbols land simultaneously during a single base game spin. In addition, every Conquest symbol that lands awards you an additional Free Spin.

If a Clan loses a Duel, its Clan Banner takes damage. So, if the Club Banner gets damaged twice, the respective Clan disappears, and so do all of its symbols. In addition, you win an extra Free Spin after destroying a Clan Banner.

Theme, Graphics & Soundtrack

The Warrior Ways slot theme takes you to futuristic Japan in the Tokyo Metropolis, but not as we know it. Instead, clans wage war against each other for control of the city.

Eye-grabbing bold and vibrant colours are the first thing you notice when you see the reels. In addition, the red and purple skies add an element of mystery to the gameplay. It creates a sense of Armageddon, perfect for a duel.

A mix of Eastern instruments plays over some futuristic techno and synth tones in the background as you spin the reels. Symbols include; Clan symbols in different colours like green, orange, blue, and red. All Clan Warriors trigger the same payouts when 3, 4, or 5 land, paying 0.2x, 0.4x, and 1x your stake.

Warrior Ways Review Summary

Warrior Ways is one of the best-looking slots available at Wizard Slots online casino. The storyline adds an intriguing twist to the gameplay. In addition, the bonus rounds support the theme.

Each bonus round sinks you further into the story. The battle progresses, and Clans can manoeuvre through each round until they make it to victory. We love how engaging this part of the game is. Particularly Conquest, where Clans can be eliminated from the feature. Of course, the Clans don't disappear for good, but the progression through the bonus rounds adds more immersion to the slot by fleshing out the world it's built.

In addition, its generous 96.33% RTP might appeal to most audiences, and let's not forget to mention the impressive maximum potential win of up to 10,000x your bet.

Try it for yourself and see what you think. You can play the Warrior Ways slot online at Wizard Slots.
