What Are Street Bets In Roulette?

There are many different kinds of bets in roulette, such as corner bets, column bets, neighbour bets and odd/even bets. In this blog post, we’ll be focusing on street bets.

We’ll be going through everything you need to know about street bets, including what they are and how to place them when playing roulette.

What Are Street Bets In Roulette?

A street bet in roulette, also known as a triple bet, trio, or 3-number bet, is a type of inside bet. It is an inside bet where players can cover a row of three consecutive numbers on the grid.

The chances of a street bet landing are 7.9% in American roulette and 8.1% in European roulette. It pays out at 11:1 in both of these main variations.

At slots site Wizard Slots you can find a wide range of roulette games, including American and European roulette.

How Does A Street Bet Work?

A street bet works by placing a bet on 3 consecutive numbers on the roulette grid.

One reason why a player would choose a street bet is it is a quick way to cover 3 numbers. You could even place multiple street bets to cover more of the table! Also, playing a street bet has a slightly better chance of landing than betting on a single number whilst still offering one of the higher payouts available in roulette.

However, a possible drawback of the street bet is that it is still one of the higher-risk bets, as the chances of it landing are still much lower than other kinds of bets, such as red/black or odd/even.

How Do You Place A Street Bet?

When playing roulette, you can place all different kinds of bets, including a street bet. To begin, look at the grid and think about which trio of numbers you want to bet on. You then place your chip on the outer line of the last number in the row, so the chip lies half in the 3rd number and half off the grid.

When playing roulette casino games online, simply click in this position to place your street bet. A chip then covers the 3 numbers in that row.

What Does A Street Bet Pay?

The aim of roulette is to guess what number the ball will land when the roulette wheel stops. If you guess correctly, you win. To win a street bet, the ball must land on a number that is within your street bet (i.e. the ball lands on one of the three numbers covered by your bet).

A winning street bet pays out at 11:1. For example, a £1 bet returns £11.
