FOBT Roulette System - Can You Win With a Strategy?

FOBT Roulette System - Can You Win With a Strategy?

You must have encountered the FOBT roulette system if you enjoy playing roulette. They're some of the biggest betting businesses in the UK. So, let's determine whether you can win on FOBT roulette with a strategy.

What Is an FOBT?

Fixed odds betting terminals, or FOBTs, are machines on which you can play various casino games, including roulette. Each FOBT can accept bets for cash amounts to a certain extent and pay out fixed odds.

FOBT Roulette System

Fixed odds betting terminal roulette works similarly to any other roulette game. For example, it uses the same rules, payouts, and odds. Therefore, you can expect the same random outcomes on each spin as at a physical or online casino. So, no quick hacks or strategies are available to beat the FOBT roulette system.

However, that doesn't stop a few players from using the following roulette strategies.

Martingale Strategy

The Martingale system requires players to bet a small amount initially and double the bet amount every time they lose. The player then returns to the starting bet amount following a win.

However, if you encounter consecutive losses, your bet amount could climb quickly. So, the Martingale strategy can become expensive in the long run.

Fisher Strategy

Unlike the Martingale strategy, the Fisher Strategy doesn't use a progressive betting system. However, it still requires you to increase your bet amount. Keep track of your sessions by noting down your first wager amount. It could be any bet amount you like, but it's best to start low.

Place 4 bets matching the same starting amount. If you lose them all, triple your bet amount and bet 4 this new amount 4 consecutive times. If you are still in a net loss following this series, triple your bet amount again and repeat.

Again, this can quickly get expensive to keep up.

Labouchere Strategy

Players use this strategy on even bets, i.e., even, odd, red, black, or numbers 1 to 18/19 to 36. To use this strategy, decide how much you want to win first. Then, divide the figure into a few smaller numbers. For example, for a £10 potential win, the smaller numbers might be 1- 1- 1 -2 -2 - 2 - 1. Next, take the number on the far left and that on the far right and combine them. If you win, cross out the numbers in the sequence you used.

For the next round, you can move on to the left and right numbers, and the cycle continues until you cross them all out. If you lose, you add the bet amount you just lost to the end of the sequence and proceed as before.

1-3-2-6 Strategy

For the 1-3-2-6 strategy, the game requires you to stake on 1, 3, 2, & 6 units in each round as long as wins occur. The 1-3-2-6 system requires players to bet a single unit as their first bet, 3 units for the next bet, and if those win, then you move to 2 units for the 3rd bet. Finally, you'll bet 6 units for the 4th bet.

However, if you win bet 1 and lose bet 2, the system requires you to change back to your initial betting units.

D'Alembert Strategy

Players who use this system increase their wager by 1 unit after losing and reduce it by 1 unit if they win. The strategy seems easy but can take a turn after a few consecutive losing bets.

Is FOBT Roulette Random

FOBT roulette uses the same odds as regular roulette, so it has the same 2.7% house edge as European roulette. It also uses a random number generator (RNG) to generate a random outcome on each spin that is unpredictable. In addition, each number has the same chance of landing on every spin of the wheel, and no roulette strategy can change or affect this.
